2 more matches in the English Premier League were postponed due to the coronavirus (Covid-19).
In a written statement from the Liverpool club, it was announced that the match against Leeds United at Anfield this Sunday has been postponed by the Premier League officials. In the statement, it was decided that the match would not be played on the scheduled date following the increasing positive cases of COVID-19 in the Leeds United squad.
Apart from Liverpool’s match against Leeds United, the match between Wolves and Watford was also postponed due to the coronavirus.
Both games were scheduled to be played on Sunday, December 26, but were postponed due to requests from Leeds and Watford.
